These salted anchovies have been fished by the same family for five generations. There are many species of anchovies, but the anchovies fished by Nassari are the most prized for their exceptional flavor-found primarily in the Northeast Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Sustainably fished using nets that minimize impact on other marine species. Marinated with salt for six months, then packed with extra virgin olive oil to maximize flavor.
